It's Launch Day Tomorrow!

It’s the night before launch day. The night before Space Between Us officially opens its doors in Grimsby. And as we sit here, surrounded by to-do lists, excitement, and a little bit of nervous energy, we can’t help but reflect on how far we’ve come to reach this moment.

This idea wasn’t born overnight. It’s been months (maybe even years) in the making; countless conversations over cups of tea, late-night brainstorming sessions, and moments of asking ourselves: “What kind of service would we want if we were the ones looking for help?”

Tomorrow, that vision becomes real.

Building Space Between Us

When we first started talking about creating a counselling service in Grimsby, we wanted it to be different. We wanted it to feel welcoming, approachable, and built on real human connection.

As Niki puts it:

“We wanted to create something that felt like home; a space where people can show up exactly as they are, without judgement.”

That’s why every detail has mattered, from the name, to the website, to the way we talk about what we do. We’ve tried to strip away the jargon and keep things simple, because seeking help should never feel overwhelming.

The Final Countdown

Tonight feels a bit like the night before the first day of school. The anticipation, the planning, the little butterflies that keep you awake.

Kirstie summed it up beautifully earlier when she said:

“We’ve been carrying this idea for so long, and now we finally get to share it. It feels both terrifying and incredible all at once.”

We know tomorrow is just the beginning. There will be challenges, lessons, and plenty of growth ahead. But there’s also so much hope; hope for the people we’ll meet, the conversations we’ll have, and the difference we might be able to make.

Why It Matters

For us, Space Between Us isn’t just a counselling service. It’s about creating a safe space in Grimsby where people can pause, breathe, and be heard. It’s about offering support at a time when life can feel heavy. It’s about connection; human, honest, and kind.

Tomorrow We Begin

So tonight, we sit with gratitude. For the people who’ve supported us. For the vision that’s carried us this far. And for the journey that officially begins tomorrow.
